Sova Assessment’s new website is powered by state-of-the-art technologies, designed to provide a smooth user experience and simplify content management.
The JAMstack architecture separates the frontend and backend, boosting performance and security. Next.js with TypeScript ensures faster page loads and reliable code, while Tailwind CSS speeds up UI development, complemented by Storybook for efficient component building and testing.
The Challenge
Sova Assessment aimed to overhaul their website, which was built on an outdated, monolithic technology stack. Their goal was to create a modern, visually appealing site that would deliver exceptional performance. In addition, they sought to move away from their old CMS (CraftCMS) and transition to a more flexible, secure architecture that would support long-term growth and adaptability.
The Solutions
Sova Assessment and I collaborated closely to explore the potential of using a Headless CMS with the JAMstack approach. Strapi was identified as the ideal solution, meeting both the content editor’s needs and the site’s functional requirements.
Beyond the technical planning, we initiated a Discovery Phase that involved researching the target audience, understanding the content, and aligning with the key goals for the new website. From there, our design team crafted a fresh, modern look for the Sova Assessment site. We developed a library of over 30 reusable components, transforming content ideas and wireframes into fully functional UI elements within Strapi CMS, empowering the Sova team to easily manage and reuse these components across their new site.
